Fantastic Verge Britannia 1809.

Rare silver pocket watch from 1808 as indicated on the hallmarks!!!

It is a watch with a 5.4 cm diameter and 2.6 in height, large, which presents a rare painting, unique, representing a major UK symbols Britannia.

Britannia is the personification of the island itself, being an old term for Britain. Especially from 1707, with the union of the kingdoms of England and Scotland, Britannia has become the symbol of power and the British Empire Union.

The double silver case, is in excellent condition, both being original, (exhibit the same hallmarks).

Fantastic Verge Movement, working well, and signed by the renowned London watchmaker T. Hudson, who worked around 1809.

Enamel dial, impeccable, with beautiful original paintint.
